Testing & Inspections Services

To maintain optimal performance and code compliance, fire codes (NFPA) demand that your life safety systems be evaluated at regular intervals. Each system has certain requirements. As your compliance partners, we will collaborate with you to create a testing plan tailored to your facility.

Our confidence testing and inspection services are intended to ensure a complete audit of your system that meets code and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) criteria. We provide inspections using BuildingReports, a cloud-based report management software that builds a barcode-based database of each device on your system, including its compliance status. A BuildingReports test delivers device-level testing accountability, giving you the confidence you need when reporting to the AHJ.

What Systems Do We Examine?

Performance Systems Integration offers confidence testing and inspection services for the systems listed below:

Fire Alarm Systems: The first line of protection is the alarm. We ensure that your systems are operational and send the necessary notifications so that you can safely evacuate your facility.

Fire Sprinkler Systems: To prevent the spread of fire throughout your facility, your sprinklers must work properly. Our testing services verify that the components in your system meet NFPA requirements and will work as expected.

Fire Pumps: The heart of any fire suppression system is the fire pump. We rigorously test your fire pump to verify that it will deliver the necessary pressure and flow rate to suppress and extinguish fires before they spread.

Fire extinguishers: We inspect and test to ensure that they are correctly charged and that all components will function properly when the unit is discharged.

Hydrant Flow Testing:We perform hydrant flow test for local AHJ, Engineers, Facilities and General Contractors. Hydrant flow tests are performed to determine water pressure in planning for firefighting activities, fire sprinkler systems, or facility demand. Fire hydrant testing determines the overall health of the water distribution system by detecting valve issues or wall deposits. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requires hydrant water flow testing at least once every five years under NFPA 291 guidelines.

Public Safety DAS: In-building communication systems for public safety are designed to provide continuous two-way radio coverage. This is possible using the Public Safety DAS (Distributed Antenna System).

Emergency Lighting: In an emergency, proper illumination is critical. We inspect your lights to ensure that the bulbs, batteries, and other components are in good working order.
