Hydrotesting Fire Extinguishers, Suppression Tanks, SCBAs and Canisters
We do hydrostatic testing on a large number of fire extinguishers, suppression tanks, SCBAs, and canisters every day. Customers rely on us to assess whether an emergency tank is no longer safe to use. A fire extinguisher’s life can be extended by properly inspecting and maintaining it on a regular basis. There is no way to know if it will be effective in a fire without hydrotesting.
Our service teams work with the utmost honesty and integrity, never leaving you in the dark regarding your system, fire extinguishers, or safety items.

How Can We Assist?
Even the most resistant materials deteriorate due to corrosion and weather. A fire extinguisher or fire suppression system loses efficiency over time due to corrosion or inadvertent damage.
Microscopic cracks or broken-down parts lead to the device’s dysfunction. Hydrotesting (hydro-static testing) uses pressured water to examine the structural integrity of a tank, identifying any serious defects that might be the difference between passing or trashing it. We can test at both low (up to 600 PSI) and high (up to 10,000 PSI), which covers the great majority of tanks, even those requiring DOT certification.
